Large shimmery burgundy red leather hair barrette with pressed Japanese maple leaf design, actually made from pressed dry leaves from my garden. Muted silvery metallic tones over rich maroon and naturally dyed black leather give this hair clip a unique and mature, subtle look.
Yes, a real plant was pressed into the leather to provide this beautiful texture! Perfect for dress or everyday use. It makes a great gift for anyone with long hair, and nature enthusiasts, and is a nice practical alternative to jewelry. Each barrette I make is handmade and thus one of a kind.
